Waxing
Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for four to six weeks, depending on the client and the area treated. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, facial area, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet.
To smooth skin and to prevent ingrown hair, Sana Day Spa use a pre-wax lotion. After waxing, in-grown hair are cleaned up and a calming mint gel or tender skin solution is applied, which prevents in-grown hair and keeps skin smooth. Our technique is quick and painless!
Hair growth must be 1/4†for body waxing and 1/8†for facial waxing. Waxing and sugaring services cannot be performed on clients who have used Retin-A, Retinol, or Accutane, or have had an Enzyme peel, Glycolic peel, or AHAs within 4 weeks. If taken orally, please wait 3 months. Allow 24 hours before or after sunbathing or tanning to your appointment.
